Darlington Borough Council is one of the foremost cycle instructor training providers in the UK. We have been training instructors from every part of North-East England since 2003.
Our instructor training is firmly based on our experience of training thousands of Darlington’s adults and children. We are able to draw on this experience to ensure that our trainee instructors return to work with a thorough knowledge of the challenges they may face in their day-to-day training roles.
Our past clients have come from local authorities, schools, primary care trusts, registered charities, private companies and self-employed trainers.
Our regular four day courses train instructors to National Standards and are accredited by the Cycle Training Standards Board.
Our instructors are all experienced, professional trainers and competent cyclists.
