Participants should...
• Be competent cyclists with experience of modern traffic conditions.
• Have a level of physical fitness and cycling ability that will enable them to train to National Standard Level 3
• Understand the principles of safe cycling and be familiar with current theory of safe cycling or express a willingness to learn
• Be friendly, tolerant and outgoing and able to empathise with the problems that the clients may experience
• Have good organisational skills
• Be good listeners and have good communication skills
• Be able to stay calm in all situations
• Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Have experience in a teaching, training or instructing role or express a willingness to learn
• Have experience of cycle training as an assistant or volunteer or express a willingness to learn
• Have a first aid qualification or express a willingness to learn
