Get Ready Middleton St George - Local Motion is heading your way…….
From 17th October 2011, for four weeks, Team Local Motion’s Travel Advisors will be knocking on doors in the Middleton St George area offering an ‘Individualised Travel Marketing’ service, providing help and advice with your travel and transport queries - completely free of charge.
Members of Team Local Motion, who have been recruited and trained for this project, will call at households in the Middleton St George ward to discuss current travel arrangements and offer tailored advice and information about walking, cycling and public transport alternatives.
They aim to help make travelling around cheaper, easier and healthier for individuals and for families. They will also note any comments residents may have which will help make improvements to sustainable transport options in the area.
Travel Advisors will carry personal identification and be easy to recognise from their Local Motion branded clothing.
