The number of children walking and cycling to school has dropped dramatically over the last two decades, whilst conditions such as asthma and obesity have increased. Physical inactivity is now a serious threat to our collective health.
But this sedentary lifestyle can be prevented and children’s journeys to and from school can be an ideal way to become more active.
