Medal Motion is an exciting incentive for school children to use greener forms of transport to travel to and from school.
The theme of the last campaign was a Globe Trotter Challenge which saw pupils from primary schools across Darlington travelling from continent to continent via a wall chart and passports.
Over the last two weeks children 'travelled' between London, Rome, Cairo, Moscow, New Delhi, Beijing, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro and New York before ending up at Edinburgh.
A range of prizes were on offer to those schools and pupils taking part including a class trip to Edinburgh, a disco for the whole school plus the chance to win the new Medal Motion Champion school trophy.
