Many people have already made the change, no matter how small, and we spoke to just a few of them about the difference it's brought in to their lives.
Living nearly a mile away from her local supermarket, Vicki would usually drive to do her shopping. But after seeing a Local Motion campaign she decided to pledge to change the way she travels just once a week.
